Showcase Cinemas Invests in Major Renovations at Three New York Theatres.

Showcase Cinemas announced that renovations at three of its New York theatres - Showcase Cinema de Lux Cross County, Showcase Cinema de Lux City Center 15 and College Point Multiplex Cinemas - are complete.   

Date nights and family outings just got better for New York movie-goers, as they can now experience highly anticipated films like "Disney's Christopher Robin" and "The Spy Who Dumped Me," or the recently opened "Mission: Impossible – Fallout" from fully powered, reclining plush chairs that allow for extra leg room and comfort and feature a small table for refreshments. Seats in renovated theatres can now be reserved in advance, allowing guests to save time upon arrival and enjoy the theatres' array of concessions.

• Total rebrand including new Showcase Cinema de Lux signage and 10 renovated auditoriums

• Lobby refresh with new concessions stand redesign
• Innovative "all-in-one" concessions experience with digital signage. This renovation allows customers to purchase their favorite, traditional concessions like popcorn, candy and soda, along with heartier offerings including Nathan's® Famous Hotdogs, Pretzel Depot pretzels and pizza – all in one transaction!
• A new Coke Freestyle machine offering guests an array of choices in an interactive format with a 24-inch, high-definition touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity

Showcase Cinema de Lux City Center 15 (White Plains, NY)

• 15 renovated auditoriums
• IMAX® Experience – refurbished auditorium offering guests an immersive movie-going event with new chairs, striking clarity and sharp sound
• Power operated, fully reclining chairs, swivel tables and the ability to reserve in advance

 College Point Multiplex Cinemas (Whitestone, NY)

• 12 renovated auditoriums
• Power operated, fully reclining chairs, swivel tables and the ability to reserve in advance
